Really pleased today to fit an implant retained denture for a patient who has been suffering for three years being unable to eat anything solid since all her lower teeth were taken out.Lower full dentures are notoriously difficult to cope with as they move around when speaking and eating.In fact many patients simply take them out at home and they often feel very self conscious about eating out with friends and family.
Two implants placed in the lower jaw can stabilise a lower denture and make it possible to eat with confidence in public again.This can make a huge difference for a patient’s social life.
